Great Clothes for Little Boys

I've often heard other moms say that little girls' clothes are cuter than little boys' clothes.  Now that I have not just one, but two little boys of my own, I disagree!  I have been pleasantly surprised with the wide array of styles out there for boys these days, and how easily accessible these styles are.  Last week we went to check out the new holiday collection at The Children's Place.  We found some adorable, affordable outfits!  Here are a few of my favorites:

I love the combination of the plaid shirt, Christmas tie, and black vest.  And I'm so excited about the newsboy cap!  I got matching caps for my boys to wear in our family Christmas pictures.  In the past I avoided dressing my boys with unnecessary accessories like hats because I thought they would get lost for sure, but Bear LOVES wearing hats.  One day I decided to let him wear his hat while we ran errands and he kept it on the whole time!  Cute hats our our new favorite thing.

If we lived in a climate that had real seasons like WINTER, I'd be all over that mohawk hat.  So fun!

Great preppy little outfit.  The plaid layered with the fleece crew hoodie is super.

Pairing a blazer with straight-legged jeans is unconventional and so very dapper.
(Okay, writing this is starting to make me feel like Tim Gunn... Make it work, people!)

I love argyle.  So classic.

I've been a longtime fan of The Children's Place.  Their clothes are affordable and well-made.  They hold up great, even with my rowdy, roughhousing boys.  Considering the upcoming months, it's a great time to start hunting for some holiday outfits!

(Disclosure: The Children's Place invited me to a blogger shopping event where I received a gift card.  I was not required to write this post.  All opinions are my own.)

  1. We were just at Children's Place yesterday looking for lil' boy clothes. I think their clothes are cute and was happy to find straight-leg jeans (instead of those awful cargo pants that drown my kids' short little legs)but sad that they didn't have adjustable waists for 18 month pants! Unfortunately, my kids are too skinny. So we ended up going to Sprockets next door and finding some really cute skinny jeans :)

The cuter I dress my clueless little boys, the happier I feel for some reason :)
